Tulsa SSDI Lawyer Explains Teaching Disability Law And Being A NOSSCR Member

Well, we’re both sustained members of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. The national organization has two meetings a year, national meetings a year. It’s amazing to me, I see people who advertise on television or have in the yellow pages say they do Social Security work. I’ve never seen them at a meeting. I don’t know how they know what they’re doing because I learn something every time I go and it’s very complicated. I don’t understand how you cannot go to training and know what you’re doing. We now teach, Steve and I both have been on the Board of Directors for NOSSCR, then we have a 10th Circuit meeting, it’s a little less expensive so a lot of people will come to that because they can’t afford to go to the national meeting, so we’ll go to the local meeting and we teach that. Some people tell me they come to the conference just to hear my presentation. So, you know, I don’t know how they’re ever going to get out of it. They quit asking me to do it, they just assume I’m going to do it, I guess.
