Mr. Rackley received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. He then received his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May 2001. Mr. Rackley graduated in the top seventh percentile of his law school class and attended classes primarily in the evenings while maintaining nearly full-time employment. During his time in law school, Mr. Rackley received various honors and awards, including CALI Awards of Excellence in several subjects, such as legal research and writing, civil procedure, and federal courts. Additionally, he received second place in a first-year law student team negotiation competition.
Mr. Rackley practiced insurance defense litigation from 2001 through 2004. There, he twice served on a panel of judges for high school moot court competitions. He began working on Social Security Disability cases after joining Troutman & Troutman, P.C. in December 2004. Mr. Rackley is admitted to practice law before all state courts in Oklahoma, all federal district courts in Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has successfully argued appeals at both the state and federal levels. Mr. Rackley has also served as an instructor on Social Security Disability issues at local circuit conferences for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).
Mr. Rackley is a Social Security Disability attorney. He limits his current practice to federal court appellate advocacy of Social Security Disability claims. He is a sustaining member of NOSSCR and has regularly attended national and local circuit NOSSCR conferences.
