Did you know that our own Steve Troutman is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and has attended every organizational conference since he began practicing law?
In fact, all of our attorneys are closely affiliated with the NOSSCR, which represents lawyers working in Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance law. Gayle L. Troutman serves as the director representing the Tenth Circuit on the Board of Directors for the NOSSCR.
Millions of people utilize the services provided by attorneys who are members of the NOSSCR each year, so the organization is vital to those who receive benefits.
With this in mind, recently, the organization announced that it has elected Tim Cuddigan as its new president. According to the NOSSCR, Cuddigan has represented more than 5,000 claimants in SSDI and SSI law. He is a graduate of Creighton University School of Law.
Applying for SSDI Benefits
Remember, the Social Security Administration uses two different tests to determine benefit eligibility, including the “Duration of Work Test” and the “Recent Work Test”, which take into account how long you have worked as well as how recently to determine whether you qualify for SSDI benefits.
When we discuss attending NOSSCR conferences, often these items are discussed, allowing our attorneys stay on top of new trends. For more information about SSDI and your eligibility, contact us today.
